Along the way, I've developed a healthy respect - and love - for automation. In fact, I once automated myself out of a job (which turned out to be the best thing that could have happened!).
Working with our DevOps team recently, they introduced me to the concepts of Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines. Sure, I'd heard those terms countless times over the years, but I finally decided to stop nodding along and actually understand what they meant. This blog chronicles that journey.
